Although we are based on the border between Lancashire & Manchester, we work with clients all over the UK.
Rather than creating another business networking group with membership fees we decided to follow our hearts and offer our events on a Pay-As-You-Go basis.
At each event there is a workshop session that generally highlights an issue that impacts business owners. They can be practical sessions or a brief presentation.

Events are no more than 1 1/2hours, depending on the number of participants
Using breakout rooms you will get to meet as many participants as possible within the time available!
When you purchase your ticket you will also get a template to complete with your contact details and any social media links you want to promote.
These events are about networking! All participants get a copy of each other’s details after each meeting.
(Provided you have met the conditions detailed in the template!)

Running approximately once per quarter, our in-person business networking events have more of a seminar structure, with a combination of networking & workshops. There are in various locations in the North West, not just Manchester. (Honest! & we also try to ensure a really good lunch!)

Our online networking events take place every 2 weeks. No membership fees, pay as you go. Each event includes a workshop season.

Our in-person events generally take place every quarter with a practical workshop or training session in the morning. We try and make sure lunch is good as well!

You are not forced to share leads or to account for the value of any sales. Networking is for building relationships with other businesses. We know the rest will follow. Attend our events because they are great events, not because of the ridiculously low price 😊

Why are your events Pay-As-You-Go?
Our networking events are Pay-As-You-Go so that any business or charity can attend without breaking the bank. We don’t want to manage annual subscriptions or cancellations we just want to network with businesses. We hope this means that the businesses who attend are engaged and interested in netowrking as well
Do I have to have a business in Manchester to attend?
No our online business networking events are open to everyone. We are based in the North West, just outside Manchester on the border of Lancashire. It’s a great part of the world; all are welcome, you have just found our page for businesses in around Manchester.
Why do online events have a variable time slot?
Our online networking events have variable time slots, so there is enough time for participants to network with other attendees. We use breakout rooms, and sometimes these can overrun. Our online events will never be more than the 1 ½hours.
Do I have to have a business to attend?
These are business networking events, but if you are a start-up in or around Manchester or are thinking of starting a business, you are more than welcome to attend! (Don’t try to make us all buy one from you, though! 
)

Why do I have to prepare my contact details before the meeting?
To help keep our networking events to time, we ask that everyone prepare a short summary with their contact details, e-mail, website, telephone and any social media posts they want to promote. This information is shared with everyone attending the event. This means it is easier to contact each other after the event and arrange those important 1-2-1 sessions!
Do I have to give a presentation?
No, workshop sessions are delivered by sponsors. Sponsors are invited to deliver workshops rather than a presentations that demonstrate their skills or knowledge. If you have a presentation you would like to share you can share it with your other social media links.
How long do I have to speak for?
During the breakout room sessions, the maximum amount of time for each participant is 2 minutes; that’s the reason we encourage participants to have their contact details & social media ready to paste into the chat when prompted!
What will I get out of attending?
Some great networking connections & some useful free tips to use in your business. Our networking events are Pay-As-You-Go so of course there are no membership fees to attend our networking events, although this means we are taking all the risk, we know our events will be full of people who value networking.
I am job hunting can I attend?
Yes! Whilst we are not a job exchange, we want our events to provide a network of connections that you can rely on. If you find yourself unexpectedly on the job market, reach out to us directly, and we will arrange a discount code for you to use whilst you are searching. (None of the other participants will know you have used a discount code)
Can I bring a friend?
Whilst we don’t have strict rules about who can attend our networking meetings, we would prefer it if you didn’t bring everyone from the office. Our online networking events are only £7 (including VAT!), everyone with a ticket can join a meeting.
Can I block book?
We realise it may be difficult for some folks to purchase individual tickets via their expenses. If this is the case, contact us directly, and we will arrange an invoice for the number of meetings you want to attend. You still need to book each meeting, and it is your responsibility to attend! Terms apply ie. you are paying for 10 events sequentially; you are not buying 10 credits to use whenever you like. We offer the same option for in-person events, but in this case the invoice is just for that in-person event.
I have a complaint
We hope you don’t have a reason to complain, but we realise sometimes things don’t go according to plan. We do ask for feedback after each meeting. If you wish to raise a complaint, this is your first step. We will then try to resolve your issue and provide feedback on what we have done to resolve your complaint. Hopefully, that will be the end of the matter.
Can I attend a meeting before deciding whether to pay?
We have Free events throughout the year that you are more than welcome to attend FREE of charge. Our online meetings are only £7, including VAT, booking administration and workshop content.
We think that is great value for money, especially when you consider how much one coffee costs at Starbucks Ramsbottom
